Overview : Air-cooled industrial chillers dissipate heat of itself by air circulating through aluminum finned copper tube condenser. Its working principle: the refrigerant in the chiller absorbs heat from evaporator and evaporates into gas, then compressed by compressor into high-temperature and high-pressure gas, changes into liquid refrigerant and dissipates heat into air when going through the aluminum finned condenser, and finally goes through the expansion valve and release the pressure, then back to the evaporator, this is the complete refrigeration cycle.The features of air-cooled chillers include:1.No need external cooling water source, easy to install
2. Suitable for countries& areas that lack of water or with poor water quality;
3.Dissipating heat with blowers, the heat dissipation effect is greatly affected by the ambient temperature.
Design features
Refrigerant system:
- Adopt R-407c environmentally friendly refrigerant
- Adopt world well-known compressor --- Japan Panasonic scroll compressor
- Adopted aluminum fin & copper tube type condenser, easy for cleaning
- Low noise and large air blower, ensure sufficient cooling air volume
The Plates type evaporator ( SS304 plates type heat exchanger ) ensure a steady water
temperature offered, reduces ambient heat again, increases cooling efficiency
Chilled water system:
- Water loop are made of stainless steel, Galvanized steel pipe
- Adopt iron pump ( 2bar pressure, 3.5m³/h flow )
- Chiller Inlet and outlet water connections in Stainless steel : BSP 1'' (external thread)
- Add by-pass valve to adjust the water output flow volume and pressure
Control Protection system:
- Microcomputer control system offering accurate temperature stability within ±2ºC
(Higher accuracy to minus plus 0.5 ºC optional)
- Refrigerant pressure gauges help quickly understand system problems
- Multi-protection devices ensure the chiller unit running stably and safely

Installation
For air cooled chiller, the heat generated and transferred by compressor can only be removed by ambient air, so the ventilation is very important. (See picture 1-1, regular installation condition).
Installation site should be drafty orequipped with air duct. If the long duct influence the dissipation effect, a fan motor with same or bigger air volume should be mounted at the outlet of it. When install air duct, please make space for future maintenance.
